Wahine Warriors is a Florida-based 501(C)(3) nonprofit here to lift up foster kids and female (and male) Veterans in need! We use a wellness surf program to awaken self confidence in females who have been through some salty things in life. Surfing can do big things for ones self confidence, feeling of belonging and overall happiness. Join us to bring out God-given potential in waves!
We duck dive into a wave and leave our worries on the shore. However, what we learn in the water will help us to work it out but not now…. now, we surf!! The humble sport of surfing teaches discipline and commitment because well surfing isn’t easy. Just like life the waves will knock you around but if you take the time to work for it you find yourself in a world of fun and excitement. The reward is worth it and you will be surprised in what you can do!

Surfing can be a very spiritual experience and helps to reach moments of clarity. What better place to connect with God than in his playground?
God’s calming presence is overwhelmingly apparent within the powerful ocean. He is with us in every paddle and every wave. The ebb and flows of surfing translates so well in walking with Christ in life. There will times it feels like we've been held under for a whole set or we continue to get snaked on a dream wave. The beauty lies in how much light you can shine to overpower the dark. God is with us always, He is where our strength comes from. He is the goodness that keeps the dark away.
